Transfer is more than moving from one institution to another. It’s a journey that requires planning, clear pathways, and the right information at the right time. Connect is about bringing people and resources together—students, advisors, faculty, administrators, and institutions—to build partnerships that make transfer smoother and more successful. Succeed is the goal: helping students make every credit count, overcome barriers, complete their degrees, and take the next step toward their future.
Sponsored by Alabama Transfers, this conference brings together professionals from across the state to share ideas, spark innovation, strengthen partnerships, and turn good practices into meaningful results. The ACHIEVE Transfer Student Success Conference 2027, sponsored by Alabama Transfers, brings together educators, advisors, administrators, and student success professionals from across Alabama with a shared goal: helping more students transfer successfully, complete their degrees, and achieve their educational goals. The conference focuses on strengthening the transfer experience and advancing strategies that support students throughout their academic journey.
ACHIEVE provides a collaborative forum for two-year and four-year institutions to connect, share ideas, explore innovative practices, and build stronger partnerships. By working together to identify barriers, improve communication, and develop effective transfer initiatives, Alabama’s higher education community can create clearer pathways for students and make the transition from one institution to another more seamless, efficient, and successful.
